Our school provides individualised programs for students, aged from 4 to 18 years, with moderate or severe intellectual disabilities and physical disabilities. In the senior years there is an emphasis on preparation for life beyond school. This is supported by a wide variety of community access programs in the junior years. We have a proud record in sporting achievements, community participation and work experience.
Students at our school are taught by trained, experienced Special Education Teachers and School Learning Support Officiers. Clarke Road School has an active and enthusiastic Parent and Citizen association and School Council. We liaise closely with families in designing the optimal individual education program for each student. We have the support of a school Counsellor and access therapists through the local area School Age Therapy Team (DADHC).
